WASHINGTON, D.C. - The night before President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were sworn into office, actress and activist Eva Longoria Bastón hosted a groundbreaking Latino inaugural ceremony that was seen by an estimated quarter of a million people around the world. Latino Inaugural 2021: Inheritance, Resilience & Promise will now be rescreened for an encore performance this Saturday on January 23 at 9 p.m. EST on LatinoInaugural.org, Latino Inaugural Facebook, and Latino Inaugural You Tube.

“It was a great honor to bring together so many people and organizations to create a program that honored and recognized the Latino community in all of our glorious diversity. Latino Inaugural 2021, told the stories of our frontline workers at this historic moment." The show’s Executive Producer Henry R. Muñoz III said. “Latinos in America know that we have the support of this new administration and we wanted to demonstrate that we will work closely with President Biden and Vice President Harris to bring unity and justice back to the United States.”

The hour-long special tells the stories of Latino contributions to society, that touch on Latino American narratives in the United States, its history and challenges, and hopes for a better tomorrow. It honors members of Latino and immigrant communities who are working hard to keep the country running during the pandemic as members of our front line and essential workforce.

Brought together by Hispanic Federation, the event is co-hosted by a diverse coalition of 53 of the country’s most influential Latino organizations, who have joined together in Unity to develop this inaugural event under the banner of Latinos Unidos.
